Rare Element Resources Upton Demonstration Plant
Rare earth processing and separation demonstration plant in Upton, Wyoming, developed by Rare Element Resources with General Atomics under a U.S. Department of Energy award selected in January 2021. The plant processes stockpiled high-grade ore from the Bear Lodge Project into separated NdPr oxide; balance-of-plant systems and initial operations were commissioned by June 2026, with full end-to-end operations expected in late summer 2026.
