MP Materials Independence Facility
MP Materials' rare earth metal, alloy, and NdFeB magnet manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Announced December 2021 alongside a long-term General Motors supply agreement; commercial NdPr metal production and trial magnet production announced January 2025; the July 2025 DoD partnership is reported to fund expansion of magnet capacity from 1,000 to 3,000 metric tons per year.
