Mkango Pulawy separation plant
Mkango Resources' planned rare earth separation plant on an 8-hectare leased site adjacent to Grupa Azoty Pulawy's fertiliser and chemicals complex at Pulawy, Poland. Planned feed is purified mixed rare earth carbonate from Mkango's Songwe Hill project in Malawi, with initial production of approximately 2,000 t/y of NdPr oxides plus about 50 t/y of dysprosium and terbium oxides contained in a heavy rare earth enriched carbonate. Recognised as an EU CRMA Strategic Project (processing, Poland); at the February 2025 land lease signing the project was still pre-construction, pending a definitive feasibility study.
Location: Pulawy, Lublin Voivodeship, Poland
