Geology

Efflorescent salt that is mainly aluminum sulfate with high Y and Yb. Efflorescent salts coat outcrops of Kingak Shale and accumulate along the margins of ephemeral pools at the foot of cut banks. (Tourtelot and Tailleur (1971))
